Desk Breaks & Posture Resets

Tiny pauses, written for keyboards and chairs. Sit a little taller, breathe a little easier, and give your shoulders a kinder afternoon.

Quick wins

Six gentle prompts you can try at your desk

Each one takes between thirty seconds and two minutes. Pick one and set a quiet timer.

Soft eyes

Look beyond your screen for twenty slow breaths. Let your gaze rest on something further than two metres away.

Shoulder rolls

Five slow backward circles, five gentle forward ones. Keep the jaw soft and the breath even.

Wrist unwind

Open and close the hands ten times, then circle the wrists in both directions.

Two-minute amble

Stand up, walk to a window or another room, and take five quiet breaths there.

Spine wave

Seated, gently round and lengthen the spine eight times in slow motion.

Box breath

Inhale four, hold four, exhale four, hold four — repeat for a calming minute.

Common questions

Good to know before you start

Do I need any equipment?

No. Every prompt on this page is designed to work with just a chair, a small space and your own breath. A folded jumper or a thin cushion is the most you might ever need.

How often should I take a desk break?

Most members like a short pause every ninety minutes. The aim is little and often rather than one long session at the end of the day.

Are the bundles a subscription?

No. Each bundle is a one-time purchase. You download the PDF and audio files and keep them. Updates are free for the lifetime of the bundle.

Can I use these alongside other movement classes?

Absolutely. The prompts are intentionally short and gentle, so they sit comfortably alongside walking, yoga, swimming or anything else you already enjoy.
